Lovers of old vehicles and large spaces, this road trip in a sidecar across Morocco is for you. Scarabeo Camp has created a five-day, four-night program (March to November) at the wheel of this vintage bike. An average of five hours between the stages, during which we take turns on the handlebars or in the basket, are enough to connect the desert of stones of Marrakech to the sand dunes of Agadir. A jeep follows closely, in case of fatigue. In the morning, a support team takes the lead and leaves to plant your tent, set up a fairy table and put the tajine on the fire. Every evening a different setting, always wild, always romantic: the rock of Agafay, the snowy peaks of the Atlas, the kasbahs in ruins of the plateau of Souss-Massa, the large pristine beaches of the Atlantic. Mobile canvas camp, sand carpet, brazier, star, storm lamp, candlelit dinner: all combine to feel the soul of a great explorer
Perhaps the best way of describing Scarabeo Camp’s magic formula.
Imagine a charming bivouac of a dozen oriental-inspired tents in the most beautiful corners of Morocco. Dotted amongst the landscape, the spacious and comfortable tents decorated with unique sourced pieces and locally crafted artwork form a harmonious whole with their surroundings. Set against an elegant and simple backdrop, the natural materials, African woven matting and Berber rugs, interesting pieces brought back from travels abroad and atmospheric Moroccan lanterns, give the impression of being on an expedition from another time.
Arriving at the different sites you will be greeted by a smiling team delighted to welcome you to their own small corner of paradise. The ingredients combine to form a unique alchemy, a place to completely unwind and disconnect from everyday life.
