Lisbon by car remains a great way to enjoy the city without relying on public transport.

Nb. regulated parking spaces:  48.747
Average price: between 20 and 30 euros / day
Access: The Portuguese capital is spread over areas where the more you are in the center, the more expensive parking is on time. These are the green, yellow and red areas. The parking time can be limited to 2 hours (red zone) or 4 hours (green zone and yellow zone) and cost you up to € 3.2 for 2 hours. Parking in the street is expensive, binding and generally applies from Monday to Friday from 8h to 19h or 20h and Saturday from 8h to 18h.
Tip: When a street where parking is free, there is often no place for free … Unless arriving early in the morning, before 9am, to have a chance to park for free! Also make sure there is no sign or time stamp!

Respecially be careful not to exceed the white band that defines the passage of the Tram. If your car passes, the Tram does not pass or it will continue leaving your car a souvenir typical of the region.
