The luxury design of the Amanzoe
Then, it is the eastern finger of the Peloponnese and Greece where the mountain and the sea alternate in the sovereign light of the Mediterranean. Greece olive groves and small stone villages eaten by the sun. Greece surprises too. You will be amazed by the beauty of the Amanzoe hotel. A place with a sacred character and splendor to resell, be it seascapes, orchards or major ancient sites, such as Mycenae and Epidaurus. Small fishing ports, beaches, shady terraces where the ouzo remains fogged, life is beautiful and it is nothing nice to share his emotions in front of a venerable row of columns, then again in front of a plate of shrimp just medium rare !
This place is a tasteful concentrate with views of the Acropolis. Location, decoration, service, nothing to complain about. In Argolis, it is a hotel acropolis and country that grabs you. The clean lines of a revisited classicism emerging from the olive groves are spectacular, but they offer you a more spectacular panorama. In both hotels, tables that know how to be of today without denying a terroir that provides them with excellent ingredients.
Amazon is conceived as a modern acropolis at the top of a hill that ripples to the sea
In small numbers, pavilions and villas are set down below. The Amanzoe dominates a breathtaking original landscape of beauty, rich in myths and history, cradle of our civilization. Here, space and silence, sobriety and comfort, attention and service confine to absolute luxury. 5 kilometers away, at the end of a lovely country road, the hotel’s beach is nestled in a completely unspoiled bay: heated swimming pool, water sports (no motor), spa, restaurant and cabins for rent for a grand moment with the sea
Our favourite rooms
Here, every guest gets their own free-standing, marble-edged pavilion positioned for maximum privacy. All are soothingly styled with pale walls, natural stone features and a touch of pine, so your tough choices include: six-metre pool or 12-metre pool? Widescreen views of the shimmering sea or here-to-the-horizon olive-grove panoramas? Larger groups or families should plump for one of the serviced 4-6 bedroom villas – they come with a chef to cater for your every craving.
Gather at the main pool, an infinity-edged, lounger-lined stretch of azure with countryside views so impressive they’ll distract you from your lengths. Shade-seekers will appreciate the pergola-sheltered smaller pool, and if you’re a spontaneous skinny-dipping sort, each pavilion has its own private secluded pool. There are free transfers to the private Beach Club where you’ll find two more 25-metre lap pools and a sheltered bay to swim in.
