Sometimes you need to slow down, to take a break from the hectic everyday life. Take care of yourself to get off to a better start! This involves various activities such as reading, meditation, yoga, outdoor walks….or why not a stay at the Sofitel Biarritz Le Miramar Thalassa sea & spa?

Nowadays, we no longer go to a cure just to relieve our aches and pains but also to recharge our batteries and move towards greater well-being. The thalasso cure then becomes an art of living, a sort of “happy therapy”, whether you want a romantic stay, a sports break to boost your fitness or moments of serenity with your family. For a few days, I discovered the Sofitel Biarritz Le Miramar Thalassa and the connection was complete.

Why are we going there?

This 5-star hotel is set in an exceptional setting overlooking Miramar Beach, which borders the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Biscay. I had the impression I was going to the sea as soon as I got access to my suite. As the balcony overlooks the sea, the weather was not favourable, but I felt safe.

The place is a real invitation to relax, surrounded by nature, ideal to disconnect and recharge your batteries….a place where the formula “where everything is luxury, calm and pleasure” takes on its full meaning.

The welcome is particularly warm, in the image of the South-West. Special mention for all the staff whose professionalism is equalled only by their kindness, smile and simplicity. As a result, one immediately feels “at home”. They are all particularly attentive and available to meet the least of your expectations, while knowing how to be discreet to respect the privacy of each guest.

I must admit, I was amazed by the quality of the service, which is a matter of excellence and contributes to a successful customer experience! You will also appreciate the personalised care at the Thalasso centre and the wide range of treatments, offered as part of a cure or à la carte. At the Sofitel Biarritz Le Miramar Thalassa sea & spa, everything is designed to ensure that each guest enjoys a stay that is as relaxing as it is invigorating!

What is the hotel like?

The 126 rooms, including 17 suites, are spacious and bright, quiet, elegantly decorated in light colours for greater serenity and feature a balcony or terrace. The 3,000 m² space at Miramar dedicated to thalassotherapy and well-being is impressive from every point of view. A range of multiple treatments covering various modern therapies in addition to a traditional massage is the key to fully relaxing and letting the spirit of the sea take over.

You’ll soon forget where you are! Biarritz, its beautiful villas, its chic alleyways, its surfers defying the rollers… Elected by Empress Eugenie in the 19ᵉ century, the “queen of beaches and beach of kings” still exercises the same power of seduction. Take the time to stroll along it all the same.
