The Cour Sainte Catherine offers a perfect blend of modern comfort, history and authenticity in the centre of Honfleur. New and luxurious, this unclassifiable establishment has been striving since 2002 to offer travellers an authentic stopover in a residence of character integrated into local life. Tastefully furnished rooms, a cosy lounge-library, a priest’s garden designed by Jean-Claude Herrault and an authentic Norman wine press form a small hamlet in the middle of the city.

The Cour Sainte Catherine is the charm of Norman architecture in a charming residence located in the heart of the historic centre of Honfleur. The porch and the breakfast room building still bear witness to this period. A fine example of 18th century Norman architecture. The owners have been working on an extensive renovation plan to make it a romantic and discreet place. The aim: to give a new look to this exceptional place without taking anything away from its natural charm.

The welcome is professional and relaxed, and the house has opened a tea room for a quiet meal and a Finnish bath to relax before taking the bikes to discover the village and the coast – splendid. The small courtyard in the centre contains a garden. This peaceful oasis, like a cocoon, will take you away from reality for a while.

An intimate residence with rooms and suites, all offering unique features such as the design carried out with care by Laurent, the first owner, who does not hesitate to find design pieces from the four corners of France and even to arrange them. Luxury is also about unique details from floor to ceiling. In normal times (except for covid), the buffet breakfast is served in the spacious common room or in the outdoor courtyard during the warmer months. You can choose between rooms and flats, each occupying a floor of one of the houses and forming a small hamlet around the inner garden courtyard.

For larger families, the Fisherman’s House is a 17th century Honfleur village house overlooking both the charming well square and the garden. It consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a lounge and two beautiful bedrooms upstairs. A real holiday home with a seaside decoration: whitewashed walls, beams and floors, lamps and marine style objects.

To experience one or more days at the Cour Sainte Catherine is above all to desire comfort, quality, luxury, calm and discretion in the centre of a historic village like Honfleur. A change of scenery is guaranteed.
