Audi has unveiled the RS 6 Avant GT, targeting an elite niche within the realm of high-performance station wagons. This exclusive edition transcends the benchmarks set by its predecessors, boasting enhanced power, speed, and a plethora of unique design elements and technological advancements.
Underneath its sleek exterior, the RS 6 Avant GT houses a robust 4.0L V8 biturbo TFSI engine, churning out an impressive 630 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque. This formidable powerplant propels the vehicle from 0 to 100 km in under 3.2 seconds, achieving a top speed of 305 km/h.
Distinguished by its bespoke design cues, the RS 6 Avant GT sports distinctive features such as a pass-through roof edge spoiler, imposing 22-inch wheels, and a redesigned diffuser that accentuates its athletic profile. Inside the cabin, occupants are treated to premium bucket seats adorned in a unique color scheme, each with individual numbering, and an exclusive RS design package. The extensive use of materials like carbon fiber for the hood and fenders further enhances the vehicle’s sporty appeal.
Scheduled to commence deliveries in the second quarter of 2024, the Audi RS 6 Avant GT commands a price tag of €219,355 EUR. With production limited to just 660 units worldwide and around 30 allocated for the French market, exclusivity is assured for discerning enthusiasts.
Complementing this exceptional performance is Audi’s renowned all-wheel-drive system paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox, engineered to deliver a thrilling driving experience coupled with unparalleled handling.
Inspired by Audi’s rich motorsport heritage, particularly the iconic Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car and the RS 6 GTO concept crafted by Audi apprentices, the RS 6 Avant GT embodies a fusion of innovation and legacy. Notably, production takes place alongside esteemed models like the Audi R8 and e-tron GT at the Böllinger Höfe manufacturing facility.
