Located in Paros, the third largest island of the Cyclades, the Parilio hotel elegantly combines typical Greek architecture and bohemian influences. A mineral setting dedicated to the Mediterranean art of living, where time seems to stretch endlessly…
It is a few kilometers from the village of Naoussa, in the northeast of the island, between small fishing villages, pine forests and coves with crystal clear waters that the Parilio boutique-hotel is hidden. As soon as you arrive, it is impossible not to be seduced by its hypnotic white silhouette, set against a clear blue sky…
Inspired by the architecture of traditional Greek villages, the Parilio has 33 high-end suites, from 30 to 40 m2, a large outdoor swimming pool, a spa, a fitness room and a restaurant, Mr. E, run by the chef Alexandros Tsiotinis.
The hotel’s suites
The program: a minimalist atmosphere, elegantly flirting between tradition and contemporary accents. Designed as pure jewel cases, their volumes are entirely adorned in white, evoking the interiors of Greek whitewashed houses. The porcelain stoneware floors, the fabrics in greige, sand and terracotta colors, and the dark wood furniture warm the place up with delicacy. Sculptural white hair, curtains and rugs LRNCE with arty patterns … A few well chosen bohemian notes bring a very current note and a lot of relief to the decor.
Designed along the same lines, the signature suites are also worth a visit. In particular the Uranus suite, whose sculptural private terrace and jacuzzi invite you to a 5-star idleness. We also love the Sun Suite, the only one with a private pool.
A restaurant with island charm
We now head to the hotel’s restaurant, Mr E. Here, the atmosphere combines elegance, authenticity and luxury without ostentation. In the large space, which is largely open to nature and the surrounding panorama, round and enveloping lines (seats with curved backs, tables with circular tops) and mineral colors are the order of the day… They respond with refinement to the white and rectilinear architecture of the Parilio. The graphic cement tile floor, in a pretty terracotta color, literally envelops the place and breathes a little graphic mood into the restaurant.
Focus on the pool
The highlight of the Parilio is the pool with its translucent water and its two rocks reminiscent of the island’s mineral relief. Its clear concrete coping and tone-on-tone terraces enhance the graphic lines of the pool and its beautiful turquoise color. While the mocha-colored deckchairs invite you to bubble under the sun… Without doubt one of the most Instagrammable spots of the hotel!
