In April 2014, after five successful years as one of the city’s top hotels, Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona expanded its inventory with 22 new suites, bringing the total to 120 rooms and suites.

Raül Balam and renowned chef Carme Ruscalleda, one of the most awarded chefs in the world, have been leading Moments, Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona’s gastronomic restaurant since the hotel opened in 2009. The restaurant received its second Michelin star in the fall of 2012.
Moments cultivates a neo-traditional Catalan cuisine based on the use of excellent quality ingredients, meticulously prepared and with innovative presentation.
