A$AP Rocky, the renowned American rapper, is stepping into the forefront of the cutting-edge collaboration between PUMA and Formula 1. He’s been appointed as the Creative Director, gearing up for a global design role that will leave its mark on all future races.
Earlier this year, the giant in German sportswear unveiled a multi-year partnership with Formula 1, ushering in a new era where PUMA will exclusively supply distinctive footwear, apparel, and accessories both on and off the racing circuit. A$AP Rocky is set to spearhead this alliance by crafting collections to be available on race days. The first of these will make its grand entrance at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November, promising a fresh, outdoor-first perspective.
The initial images depict Rocky sporting a sleek black track jacket adorned with vibrant orange stripes, proudly showcasing the PUMA and Formula 1 logos on the chest. Collaborative patches adorn the sleeves, while coordinated bottoms, uniquely designed gloves inspired by handprints, and a spectrum of multi-colored PUMA “Inhale” sneakers round off the ensemble. Rocky also introduces cropped hoodies, complete with integrated face shields, offered in an array of colors, including red, black, grey, and orange, all paired with denim accentuated by contrasting stitching.
